Ross from Rangebourne Pet Care in Devizes came to us for a leaflet he could hand out to customers on his delivery runs. The aim was simple: promote the new online store and send more people to the website.
After a chat we landed on a flyer rather than a folded leaflet. It kept the cost down for Rangebourne, and with less for customers to take in, a single flyer would do the job better.
The design had to feel like Rangebourne, independent, local and friendly, while pointing people online. We built a QR code that links straight to the shop page, with Ross's dog Bella sitting in the middle of it. Around that went the shop and website details, a reminder that Rangebourne is an all-pet shop and not just for dogs, and a warm dog photo as the centrepiece.
What's on it
- A QR code linking to the online shop, with Ross's dog Bella in the centre
- Contact details for the shop and the website
- A reminder that Rangebourne covers every pet, not just dogs
- A warm dog photo front and centre
Once we'd agreed the look, our team suggested going up from A6 to A5 and printing double-sided on 170gsm silk, which gives a thicker, quality feel with a smooth finish. We did that at no extra cost.
Ross loved it, and the moment approval came through the flyers went to print within the hour. Within a few days the whole thing was done: designed for free, approved, printed and sitting at the Rangebourne store, ready to go out on the next delivery.
